How are we different?

Academy of Laser and Aesthetics is not just a technical school. Rather, we are a school that teaches the best techniques and ethical practices.  Being an esthetician (aesthetician) is a responsibility that we take seriously.  We believe that every student should feel confident in techniques and be able to implement them in real life while helping their clientele look and feel amazing and confident!  It does not matter if you are looking for a career change, or this is what you have always wanted.  We are here to guide you and help you succeed!  What are you waiting for?

About the owner...

In an industry that is constantly evolving, Jennifer owns and operates Luminous Glow Med Spaa Medical Spa in our community. Through constant continued education, she makes it a point to stay up to date with the latest advancements while weeding out the passing fad treatments. Jennifer has managed and/or owned a Med Spa for nearly a decade, training many new Aestheticians along the way. She is a brand ambassador for Aerolase Lasers and is passionate about using lasers correctly and effectively.  She takes pride in operating within her scope and has always maintained integrity in an industry that can sometimes be labeled as untrustworthy and money-hungry.

Jennifer has taught Aestheticians at a local school in Dallas and enjoys watching the growth and accomplishments of her students. Creating a smaller, more personal class environment for students to thrive in is something Jennifer and her team are excited to do!

The Aesthetics course is 750 hours total with no more than 188 hours of distance learning (hours completed at home online) and meets the requirements of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The scheduled completion time is around 7 months!

Our students' learning will be broken down into concepts and book work followed by hands-on procedure treatment training plus professionalism; all while building on a variety of treatments and services as we progress through the program, allowing each student to gain confidence and knowledge in a small group setting.

We also offer SkinPen microneedling certification with hands-on training. Our SkinPen training will provide a wealth of knowledge and confidence to perform with the first FDA approved microneedling device for individuals who have already earned their aesthetics license.
